A reach truck with retractable mast, designed to be loaded onto the back of a carrier vehicle, comprising a chassis 1 carrying at least one driving and steering rear wheel 8 and two fixed-direction front wheels 16 and 17. The front part 2 of the truck, including the mast 21 and the two front wheels 16, 17, is articulated to pivot in relation to the chassis 1 around vertical axis 3 such that it pivots between a working position, in which the front part 2 of the truck is aligned with the chassis 1, and a loaded position in which the front part 2 and the chassis 1 are perpendicular.
Un chariot à mat, apte à être embarqué à l'arrière d'un véhicule porteur, comporte un châssis 1 portant au moins une roue arrière 8 motrice et directrice et deux roues arrière 16, 17 de direction fixe. La partie avant 2 du chariot comportant le mât 21 et les deux roues avant 16, 17, est articulée à pivotement par rapport au châssis 1 autour d'un axe 3 vertical de manière à pivoter entre une position d'utilisation dans laquelle la partie avant 2 du chariot est alignée avec le châssis 1 et une une position d'embarquement dans 1 laquelle la partie avant 2 et le châssis 1 sont perpendiculaires.
