The invention concerns a device (10) generating hydrogen from a liquid or gaseous hydrocarbon, in particular diesel fuel, oxygen and water. It comprises: a reaction chamber (12) wherein the reactive fluids are introduced to perform a reforming reaction which produces hydrogen and carbon oxides from reagents, said reaction being carried out at high temperature; - a first substantially cylindrical zone (14) surrounding the reaction chamber and wherein circulates a mixture of water vapour and hydrocarbon to be introduced into the reaction chamber, excluding the reaction products, said zone being separated from the reaction chamber so as to recover, at least partly, the heat lost by the reaction chamber, in order to preheat the mixture circulating in the first zone, the reagent(s) being in direct contact with the walls (30, 32) of said first zone to produce heat exchanges; - a substantially cylindrical second zone (16) surrounding the first zone and wherein circulates water to be vaporized, the water being in direct contact with the walls (18, 34) of said second zone, the separation (34) between the first zone and the second zone being such that the water circulating in the second zone recovers the heat of the first zone to preheat the water; and means for mixing the water of the second zone with the hydrocarbon prior to introducing the mixture in water vapour form into the first zone.
L'invention concerne un dispositif (10) générateur d'hydrogène à partir d'un hydrocarbure liquide ou gazeux, notamment du gazole, d'oxygène et d'eau. Il comprend : - une chambre de réaction (12) dans laquelle sont introduits les 5 fluides réactifs pour réaliser une réaction de reformage qui produit de l'hydrogène et des oxydes de carbone à partir des réactifs, cette réaction étant réalisée à haute température, - une première zone (14) sensiblement cylindrique entourant la chambre de réaction et dans laquelle circule un mélange de vapeur d'eau et 10 d'hydrocarbure à introduire dans la chambre de réaction, à l'exclusion des produits de la réaction, cette zone étant séparée de la chambre de façon à récupérer, au moins en partie, la chaleur perdue par la chambre de réaction, de façon à préchauffer le mélange circulant dans la première zone, le ou les réactif(s) étant en contact direct avec les parois (30, 32) 15 de cette première zone pour réaliser des échanges thermiques, - une seconde zone (16) sensiblement cylindrique entourant la première zone et dans laquelle circule de l'eau afin de la vaporiser, l'eau étant en contact direct avec les parois (18, 34) de cette seconde zone, la séparation (34) entre la première et la seconde zone étant telle que l'eau 20 circulant dans la seconde zone récupère de la chaleur de la première zone afin de préchauffer l'eau, et - des moyens pour mélanger l'eau de la seconde zone à l'hydrocarbure avant d'introduire le mélange sous forme de vapeur dans la première zone.
