Disclosed is a reaction reagent for trifluoromethylation, which has high versatility and good efficiency. Specifically disclosed is a reaction reagent for trifluoromethylation, which comprises an iron compound, iodinated trifluoromethyl, a sulfoxide and a peroxide. The reaction reagent may further comprise an acid. The iron compound may be iron (II) sulfate, ammonium iron (II) sulfate, iron (II) tetrafluoroborate, ferrocene, bis(.eta.5-pentamethylcyclopentadienyl) iron or an iron powder. The sulfoxide may be dimethyl sulfoxide. The peroxide may be hydrogen peroxide or a hydrogen peroxide-urea complex. The acid may be sulfuric acid, tetrafluoroboric acid or trifluoromethanesulfonic acid.

L'invention concerne un réactif pour trifluorométhylation qui présente une souplesse d'utilisation élevée et une bonne efficacité.
