The invention mainly concerns reaction wells, and sets thereof for an automatic immunoassay apparatus, and an immunoassay apparatus as well as a method using such an assembly of wells. The method consists in producing a photometric detection of luminescence in a reaction mixture in a reaction well (28), the apparatus and/or the well blocking out the light to prevent the measurement from being distorted by light input. Advantageously, the sets of wells (26) of the invention are made of an opaque material. The invention is particularly useful for detecting the presence of a chemical or biological substance in a sample. It is mainly applicable for analysis and research in medicine.
La présente invention se rapporte principalement à des cuvettes de réaction, à des ensembles de telles cuvettes pour appareils automatiques de dosage immunologique, à des appareils automatiques de dosage immunologique mettant en oeuvre de tels ensembles de cuvettes et à un procédé mettant en oeuvre des ensembles de telles cuvettes. Selon la présente invention on met en oeuvre une détection photométrique de luminescence d'un mélange réactionnel se trouvant dans une cuvette de réaction (28), l'appareil et/ou la cuvette assurant l'étanchéité à la lumière pour éviter qu'une entrée de lumière externe fausse la mesure. Avantageusement, les ensembles de cuvettes (26) selon la présente invention sont réalisés dans un matériau opaque. La présente invention s'applique notamment à la détection de la présence d'une substance chimique ou biologique dans un échantillon. La présente invention s'applique principalement à l'analyse et à la recherche médicale.
