Reactive solid powder composition for the purification of a nitric oxide containing gas. The composition comprises a mixture consisting of at least one solid peroxidized compound and at least one alkaline metal salt chosen from the alkaline metal carbonates, the alkaline metal bicarbonates and alkaline metal carbonate and alkaline metal bicarbonate solid solutions. The invention also concerns a method for cleaning nitric oxide containing gas, where a composition such as that defined above is injected into the gas which is then subjected to a dedusting stage.
Composition réactive, solide, pulvérulente pour épurer un gaz en oxyde nitrique, ladite composition comprenant un mélange constitué d'au moins un composé peroxydé solide et d'au moins un sel de métal alcalin sélectionné parmi les carbonates des métaux alcalins, les bicarbonates des métaux alcalins et les solutions solides de carbonate de métal alcalin et de bicarbonate de métal alcalin. Procédé pour l'épuration d'une fumée en oxyde nitrique, selon lequel on introduit dans la fumée une composition telle que définie ci-dessus et on soumet ensuite la fumée à un dépoussiérage.
