ABSTRACT Dyes of the formula: (1) Image wherein D ia an organic dye radical containing at least one water-solubilizing group, R signifies a haloalkyl radical with 1 or 2 C-atoms or a haloacryl radical, and n is a whole number from 1 to 4 are disclosed. Each group of the formula: Image is bonded to D by an aromatic carbon atom. The dyes are produced by reacting the correspondlng dyestuff compounds of the formula D -(- H)n with halo- alkanoyl- or haloacryloyl-amidoglycolic acids. The dyes are suitable for dye- ing cellulose and polyamide materials.
