A one piece, injection molded single piece, well container (10) suitable for reagents for use in a clinical instrument such as a protein analyzer, normally molded from a high density polyethylene or other recyclable plastic. The container is one or more wells, uses standard caps, and is readily adapted to automatic filling equipment. The molded, single piece reagent cartridge (10) is used in a clinical instrument, the reagent cartridge (10) comprised of a plurality of storage wells (24, 26) located in a line in fixed relationship. The reagent cartridge (10) has a guide (16) at one end which is engageable with a means (40) on the receiving means on an analyzer to restrain the cartridge (10) from radial or lateral movement. Each of the wells (24, 26) has side walls (30) and a closed bottom (28), and the side walls (30) have an upper terminal position including an access opening. An integrally formed hollow shell (14) open at the bottom and otherwise substantially enclosing said wells (24, 26) from a point below the terminal portion is provided to form a hollow space within the shell (14) around the exterior of the wells to permit the flow of conditioned air around the walls. Positive retention is provided by forming a hole (67) through the wall, which engages a detent (68) formed on the retention means.
L'invention concerne un récipient (10) à puits monobloc, moulé par injection d'une pièce, adapté à des réactifs destinés à être utilisés dans un instrument clinique tel qu'un analyseur de protéines, normalement moulé en polyéthylène ou en plastique recyclable à haute densité. Le récipient se compose d'un ou de plusieurs puits, il utilise des bouchons classique et s'adapte facilement à un matériel de remplissage automatique. La cartouche (10) de réactif moulée d'une pièce est utilisée dans un instrument clinique, elle (10) comprend une pluralité de puits de stockage (24, 26) situés dans une ligne en une disposition fixe. La cartouche (10) de réactif présente un guide (16) au niveau d'une extrémité et pouvant venir au contact d'un moyen (40) ménagé sur l'organe de réception d'un analyseur afin d'empêcher le mouvement radial ou latéral de la cartouche (10). Chacun des puits (24, 26) présente des parois latérales (30) ainsi qu'un fond fermé (28), les parois latérales (30) présentent une position terminale supérieure comprenant une ouverture d'accès. On a prévu une enveloppe creuse solidaire (14) ouverte en son fond et enveloppant lesdits puits (24, 26) à partir d'un point situé au-dessous de la partie terminale, de manière à former un espace vide à l'intérieure de ladite enveloppe (14) autour de la partie extérieure des puits, pour permettre l'écoulement d'air conditionné autour des parois. Une rétention positive est obtenue par formation d'un orifice (67) à travers la paroi, dans lequel s'engage un téton (68) formé sur le moyen de rétention.
