A real image projection system comprising two or more optical surfaces of revolution (3, 4), with at least one comprising an aspheric surface of revolution for receiving images from a source (1). The aspheric surface of revolution is of a design to reduce natural aberrations inherent in imaging using surfaces of revolution of the conic family of curves.

L'invention concerne un systeme de projection d'image réelle comprenant au moins deux surfaces optiques de révolution, l'une des surfaces de révolution étant asphérique.
