A method of managing data transmission in a mesh-topology ad-hoc network. The method includes transmitting management information by a plurality of mobile stations of the network, selecting a mobile station to serve as a master, responsive to the transmitted management information, transmitting to the master requests for bandwidth, allocating bandwidth by the master, responsive to the requests and forwarding the bandwidth allocation to the mobile stations of the network.
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de gérer une transmission de données dans un réseau ad-hoc à topologie maillée. Ledit procédé consiste à transmettre des informations de gestion via une pluralité de stations mobiles du réseau, à sélectionner une station mobile sensible aux informations de gestion transmises pour qu'elle serve de maître, à transmettre les demandes maîtres de largeur de bande, à faire attribuer une largeur de bande sensible aux demandes par le maître, et à envoyer la largeur de bande attribuée aux stations mobiles du réseau.
