ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention concerns a new arrangement of the reaping platform of harvesting machines with a feed drum (2) supported behind the cutter bar (3) in the direction of travel and with, where appropriate, a reel (5) interacting with it, the bearing arrangement of the feed drum (2) being adjustable forwards and backwards in the horizontal direction relative to the cutter bar (3) and, if appropriate, being adjustable so that it can move up and down in the vertical direction relative to the bottom of the reaping platform trough (1). Figure 1 is part of the abstract.
