A receipt or media storage and presenting device (10) is described that allows for the storage of various media, such as receipts, slips, forms, labels, tickets, tags, etc. The receipts are introduced into the device (10) by an adjacent printer (9). The web of the receipt enters the storage and presenting device (10) through an entrance guide (8), and thereafter is stored within a rib-cage storage bin (22). The device can store various lengths of the media up to about twenty feet. The device (10) is then caused to rotate through an angle transverse of the printer discharge direction, which angle is preferably 90 degrees. Thereafter, the web of material is discharged through the guide mechanism (8) that has pivoted 180 degrees from an initial entrance position to a discharge position.

L'invention concerne un dispositif (10) de stockage et de présentation de reçus ou de supports, qui permet de stocker divers supports, tels que reçus, bordereaux, formulaires, billets, étiquettes, etc. Les reçus sont introduits dans le dispositif (10) par une imprimante contiguë (9). L'âme du reçu est introduite dans le dispositif de stockage et de présentation (10) par une entrée de guidage (8), puis stockée à l'intérieur d'une trémie à nervures (22). On peut stocker dans le dispositif différentes longueurs de supports jusqu'à environ vingt pieds. Ensuite, on fait tourner le dispositif (10)selon un angle transversal au sens de sortie de l'imprimante, l'angle étant de préférence de 90·. Ensuite, l'âme du matériau est déchargée par le mécanisme de guidage (8) qui a pivoté de 180·, d'une position d'entrée initiale vers une position de sortie.
