he invention is a planar array antenna (1') of the multiple ground plane stack type including a plurality of slotted radiating elements (Eri) disposed according to the rows and columns of an array. The basic stack consits of three grounds planes (12,11,10) with cavities (120) and of two planes (14,13) for two independent excitation circuits (14,13) used to transmit or receive two inclined beams. According to the invention, two more excitation circuit planes (17,16) can be used to accomodate two polarizations in each beam. The excitation circuits consist of microstrips, coplanar wave guides, dipole lines, loop and slotted lines, or a combination of these lines, consecutive lines being 90o degrees apart. Application particularly to the individual reception of television signals coming from two different geostationary satellites.
L'antenne est une antenne réseau plane (1') du type à empilement multiplaque et comprenant une pluralité d'éléments rayonnants à fente (Eri) disposés selon les lignes et les colonnes d'une matrice. L'empilement de base comprend trois plaques de masse (12, 11, 10) munies d'évidements (120) et deux plans (14, 13) de circuits d'excitation indépendants (14, 13), de façon à pouvoir émettre ou recevoir deux faisceaux inclinés. Selon l'invention, on prévoit au moins deux autres plans de circuits d'excitation (17, 16), de manière à ce que chaque faisceau soit en outre à polarisation double. Les circuits d'excitation sont constitués par des microrubans, des guides d'onde coplanaires, des lignes dipôles, à boucle ou à fente, ou une combinaison de ces lignes. Deux lignes consécutives sont orientées à 90°. Application notamment à la réception individuelle de deux satellites de télévision géostationnaires.
