Abstract: A digital receiver includes a differential amplifier providing data signal and a control signal. The level of the control signal is related to the average level of the data signal. A slicing circuit includes series connected transistors, the gates of which receive the data signal. A third transistor is connected to provide hysteresis to the slicing circuit, and a fifth transistor is connected in parallel with the third transistor. The control electrode of the transistor receives the control signal from the differential amplifier.
