ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A push button signal receiver is provided for use in a voice response system. In order to permit a push button signal form a user's telephone terminal to be received even when a voice signal is responding, there are provided an analyzer for the parameter analysis of the voice signal and an inverse filter for flattening the spectrum of the voice signal. As a result the influence of the voice signal mixing into the signal detector is erased, and the relatively feeble push button signal can be detected and recognized.
