ABSTRACT: A frequency synthesis circuit for a radio receiver in which the aerial signal input is periodi- cally interrupted to enable a measuring signal to be applied to the receiver whereby the center frequency of the intermediate signal produced in conjunction therewith is used to produce a tuning datum signal which sets the frequency synthesis circuit to a correct frequency of operation.
