A receiver pin is provided for attaching a ball mount to a receiver on a vehicle. The receiver pin includes a body having an insertion portion and a retaining portion. The insertion portion is sized for insertion through aligned openings in the ball mount and the receiver. The retaining portion extends at least partially laterally from a proximal end of the insertion portion for limiting axial movement of the inserted body in a first direction. The insertion portion also includes a transverse receiving aperture at a distal end for receiving a retaining clip to limit axial movement of the inserted body in a second direction.
L'invention porte sur une broche se plaçant dans un récepteur pour y fixer une boule d'attelage de véhicule. La broche comporte un corps présentant une partie à insérer et une partie de retenue. La partie à insérer se place dans des trous alignés percés dans le récepteur et l'embase de la boule. La partie de retenue s'étend au moins partiellement latéralement à partir de l'extrémité proximale de la partie à insérer et en limite le mouvement dans au moins une première direction. La partie à insérer comprend également une ouverture transversale percée à son extrémité distale et logeant une goupille de retenue qui en limite le mouvement dans une deuxième direction.
