Abstract A recipient for stackable containers is designed in such a way that simple manufacture and suitable storage of the stackable containers is possible with increased stability. To this end the longitudinal strips (10) for the construction of a recipient tube (1) are divided and the two parts are joined together into a continuous unit by an overlapping catch connector. The longitudinal strips (10) are introduced into recessed cut-outs in intermediate plates (3") and an upper and lower end plate 13; 3') which are of sufficient rigidity. The attachment to the intermediate plates (3") and to the end plates (3; 3') is simplified by the divided form of the longitudinal strips (10). In the region of the upper end plate (3) are fitted elastic or movable components so that the stackable containers must always be inserted into the recipient tube (1) by their bottoms first, the diameter of which is smaller than that of the aperture end.
