An electric power for many electronic devices is supplied through a receptacle device having a plurality of plug receiving portions or sockets (outlets). Some of the electronic devices uses electric cells as power sources of low voltage. A shortage of sockets for charging the cells becomes a problem. [Means for solving] A socket body 1 having a plurality of plug connecting portions 4 is provided with secondary cell receiving portions 5. The socket body 1 is useful in charging the secondary cells 6 and also electrically connecting the plug of the electronic device to the electric power source through the receptacle device, which has two functions.
