ABSTRACT A reinforcement device includes a holding element which is built as a plastic mold and comprises troughs in which the bent- off end portions of reinforcing bars, which are to be rebent later on, are embedded in a brittle embedding material. The reinforcement device is advantageous in that after the reinforcing bars have been embedded in the concrete structural member the element and the embedding material can be easily removed. The reinforcement device is an easily transportable and handable structural unit which can be used in producing of construction joints of steel concrete struc- tural members of any kind.
