ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A one-piece receptacle made of molded plastic material supports a liquid container on an horizontal surface in order to prevent that container to overturn and liquid to spill. The receptacle is generally parallelepipedic and ?mprises a container- receiving inner portion in which the liquid container snugly fits, and an outer skirt surrounding that inner portion. The inner portion defines an upper brim and the outer skirt an upper rim interconnected together through a top edge surface. The skirt is formed with four pillar-like projections having respective lower edges which can be toothed. The lower edges of the pillar-like projections constitute the points of the receptacle the most remote from the center of gravity of the container, including the liquid. Also, only these lower edges rest on the generally horizontal surface whereby the receptacle is very stable and a dequately supports the container to prevent it to overturn.
