A receptacle (110) for the care and maintenance of living things, such as a birdfeeder, is provided that includes a housing (116) having an interior and a lid (114) that is securable thereto by rotation in a first direction and detachable therefrom by rotation in a second direction. A swivel member (118) associated with the lid permits the lid to freely rotate relative to a portion of the swivel member. The receptacle has a suspension member (122) with a first end portion (120) securable to the swivel member and a second end portion (124) securable to a support member. The lid can rotate relative to the swivel member without become detached from the housing. A method of supporting a receptacle is provided, including the step of securing a swivel member on the lid so that it may freely rotate without becoming detached from the housing.
L'invention concerne un réceptacle (110) permettant de soigner et nourrir des être vivants, tel qu'une mangeoire à oiseaux, lequel possède une enveloppe (116) possédant une partie intérieure et un couvercle (114) pouvant être fixé sur la partie intérieure par rotation dans une première direction et pouvant être détaché de la partie intérieure par rotation dans une seconde direction. Un élément pivot (118) associé au couvercle permet la rotation libre du couvercle par rapport à une partie de l'élément pivot. Le réceptable possède un élément de suspension (122) avec une première partie d'extrémité (120) pouvant être fixée sur l'élément pivot et une seconde partie d'extrémité (124) pouvant être fixée sur un élément support. Le couvercle peut pivoter par rapport à l'élément pivot sans être détaché de l'enveloppe. L'invention concerne également un procédé de support d'un réceptacle comprenant l'étape consistant à fixer un élément pivot sur le couvercle de façon que ce dernier puisse librement pivoter sans être détaché de l'enveloppe.
