A bolder is described for holding a receptacle containing liquids, and for temporarily mounting said receptacle on a surface, said vessel holder comprising a strap means; and magnet means secured to said strap means; wherein, when said strap means is in place around a vessel, said strap means and said vessel are removably mountable onto a surface by means of a magnetic coupling between the magnetic and a metallic portion adjacent the surface.
