The invention relates to a recessing turning tool, especialy a cutting device tobe releasably secured in a holder, with a frontal main cutting edge (12) and twoauxiliary cutting edges (13, 14), a curved cutting face (11) with a rising region in the cutting direction or in relation to a lowered cutting region and a cutting cross-section perpendicular to the cutting direction, which has a maxima in relation to the central region (111) at least over part of the cutting section towards the flanks (112, 113) and with a twisted face adjacent to the main cutting edge (12), the angle of which increases from each of the side corners to the centre of the cutting edge.
La présente invention concerne un outil de tournage à saigner, en particulier un élément de coupe destiné à être fixé de façon amovible dans un support et comportant une arête de coupe principale (12) à l'avant et deux arêtes de coupe secondaires (13, 14), une face d'attaque courbe (11) avec une zone élevée dans le sens de la coupe par rapport au plan de l'arête de coupe principale ou à une zone de coupe abaissée, et avec une section de face de coupe perpendiculaire au sens de la coupe, qui présente sur une partie au moins de la section de coupe, en direction des flancs (112, 113), des maxima par rapport à la zone médiane (111), et avec une facette torsadée raccordée à l'arête de coupe principale (12) et dont l'angle augmente à partir de chacun des coins latéraux en direction du centre de l'arête de coupe.
