A rechargeable breathing apparatus with a closed breathing system, particularly for aqua-diver. It comprises a breathing bellows (28) for reception of the exhaled air, to which bellows a pressurised container (38) for a gas or a mixture of gases is connected through a hydrostatic valve (42). The breathing bellows is arranged, after adsorption of CO2 from the exhaled air, and oxygen supply, to deliver breathing air to the diver. An oxygen accumulator (12) containing a reversibly oxygen fixating agent is connected to the breathing bellows (28). The oxygen accumulator (12) is rechargeable by bringing said agent into reaction with oxygen gas or oxygen in the air whereby the oxygen is adsorbed to the same. An oxygen accumulator (12) upon heating gives off oxygen to the breathing bellows. The apparatus may also be used during smoke diving.
Un appareil respiratoire rechargeable à système respiratoire fermé, particulièrement pour plongeur dans l'eau. Il comprend un soufflet de respiration (28) pour la réception de l'air exhalé. A ce soufflet est relié via une vanne hydrostatique (42) un récipient pressurisé (38) pour un gaz ou un mélange de gaz. Le soufflet de respiration est agencé pour fournir au plongeur de l'air respirable après adsorption du CO2 de l'air exhalé et fourniture d'oxygène. Un accumulateur d'oxygène (12) contenant un agent fixant réversiblement l'oxygène est relié au soufflet de respiration (28). Cet accumulateur d'oxygène (12) se recharge en faisant réagir ledit agent avec de l'oxygène gazeux ou l'oxygène de l'air de façon que l'oxygène vienne s'adsorber sur cet agent. L'invention concerne également un accumulateur à oxygène dégageant par chauffage de l'oxygène dans le soufflet de respiration. L'appareil convient également à la plongée dans la fumée.
