ABSTRACT There is provided a machine component which includes an elongated base plate with side edges, and a cylinder and piston assembly. One part of the cylinder and piston assembly is supported from the base plate. The slide plate is provided with parallel straight side edges. Two elongated guide members are also provided, each having means for attachment to the base plate, and each having a slot adapted to slidingly receive an edge of the slide plate. A further mounting connection is made between the slide plate and the other part of the cylinder and piston assembly. Finally, fastening means are provided for afixing each guide member separately to the base plate.
