ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method of reclaiming elastomeric material from scrap material which may include reinforcing fibres to produce a particular product by chemical treatment of the scrap material in a solvent which softens the elastomeric material to a stage where the material can be disintegrated into the particulate produce by stages of grinding or mincing, and drying the product. The particulate product may be used with unvulcanized rubber for moulding articles. -1-
