Reclosable closure arrangements suitable for use with packages, such as food and non-food packages, include a zipper having closure profiles that are releasably engageable with each other, a slider to open and close the profiles, and a peel seal. The closure profiles include depending fins that are interconnected by the peel seal. The depending fins may be integrally connected to panel sections included in the package. Moreover, the panel sections may be connected to the depending fins at positions that also have the peel seal. In some embodiments, packages including closure arrangements may be hermetically sealed.
