-15- Recoil Spring Assembly Abstract A spring recoil assembly (20) for use in a crawler type track roller frame (12) including an elongated tubular housing (28) having opposite open ends, a stop (36) at least partially closing one of the ends, a compression coil spring (30) within the housing and abutting the stop, a radially inwardly directed flange (48) on the other end of the housing and having an inner diameter greater than the outer diameter of the spring, an additional stop (52) within the housing other end and with, the first stop, sandwiching the spring within the housing, the additional stop having a periphery sized to freely pass into the housing past the flange, and a retainer (60,62) within the housing between the additional stop (52) and the flange (48).
