Recombinant HMPV (rHMPV) and related immunogenic compositions and methods are provided. The rHMPVs, including chimeric and HMPV vector viruses, provided according to the current disclosure are infectious and attenuated in permissive mammalian subjects, including humans. The rHMPVs are useful in immunogenic compositions for eliciting an immune response against HPIV, against one or more non-HMPV pathogens, or against a HMPV and a non-HMPV pathogen. Also provided are isolated polynucloetide molecules and vectors incorporating a recombinant HMPV genome or antigenome.
L'invention concerne un metapneumovirus humain recombinant (rHMPV) ainsi que les compositions immunogènes et les procédés associés. Les rHMPV, y compris les virus vecteurs chimériques et HMPV chimériques, selon l'invention sont infectés et atténués chez des sujets mammifères qui ne présentent pas de menace, y compris les humains. Les rHMPV sont utiles dans des compositions immunogènes afin de provoquer une réponse immunitaire contre HPIV, contre un ou plusieurs agents pathogènes qui ne sont pas HMPV, ou contre un agent pathogène HMPV et un agent pathogène qui n'est pas HMPV.
