The invention relates to recombinant monovalent antibodies which are heterodimers of a first protein chain comprising the variable domain of the heavy chain of an antibody of interest and the CH2 and CH3 domains of an IgG immunoglobulin and a second protein chain comprising the variable domain of the light chain of said immunoglobulin of interest and the CH2 and CH3 domains of said IgG immunoglobulin. These antibodies can be used in particular as therapeutic agents in all cases where monovalent binding to a ligand such a cellular receptor is required.

La présente invention concerne des anticorps monovalents recombinants. Lesdits anticorps sont des hétérodimères d'une première chaîne de protéine comprenant le domaine variable de la chaîne lourde d'un anticorps d'intérêt et les domaines CH2 et CH3 d'une immunoglobuline IgG, et d'une seconde chaîne de protéine comprenant le domaine variable de la chaîne légère de ladite immunoglobuline d'intérêt et les domaines CH2 et CH3 de ladite immunoglobuline IgG. Ces anticorps peuvent être utilisés en particulier en tant qu'agents thérapeutiques dans tous les cas pour lesquels la liaison monovalente à un ligand, tel qu'un récepteur cellulaire, est nécessaire.
