The present invention relates to polypeptides comprising at least one single domain antibody directed against vWF, vWF A1 domain, A1 domain of activated vWF, vWF A3 domain, gpIb and/or collagen, for the treatment for conditions which require a modulation of platelet-mediated aggregation. A further aspect of the invention is methods of production of said polypeptides, methods to coat devices with such polypeptides used in medical procedures (e.g. PCTA, stenting) and kits for the diagnosis of diseases related to platelet-mediated aggregation.
La présente invention se rapporte à des polypeptides renfermant au moins un anticorps simple domaine dirigé contre vWF, le domaine vWF A1, le domaine A1 de vWF activé, le domaine A3 de vWF, gplb et/ou un collagène, les homologues desdits polypeptides et/ou des parties fonctionnelles desdits polypeptides en vue du traitement d'états pathologiques nécessitant une modulation de l'agrégation plaquettaire et palliant les problèmes liés à l'état actuel de la technique. Selon une autre variante, on prévoit des procédés de production desdits polypeptides, des procédés de revêtement de dispositifs à l'aide de tels polypeptides utilisés dans des procédures médicales (p.ex. PCTA, la mise en place d'un stent), des procédés et des kits de criblage d'agents modulant l'agrégation plaquettaire et des kits permettant de diagnostiquer les maladies associées à l'agrégation plaquettaire.
