The present invention is directed to a reconstituted surfactant comprising a lipid carrier, a polypeptide analogue of the native surfactant protein SP-C, and a polypeptide analogue of the native surfactant protein SP-B. The invention is also directed to the pharmaceutical compositions thereof and to its use for the treatment or prophylaxis of RDS and other respiratory disorders.
