ABSTRACT This invention discloses a novel record material comprising a substrate, a chromogenic material, and a color developer material of the formula Image wherein each of R1 and R2 is independently selected from hydrogen, C1-C8 alkyl, or halogen; wherein R3 is allyl, benzyl, or C1-C4 alkyl; wherein each of R4 and R5 is independently selected from hydrogen, a one to eight carbon alkyl, or R4 and R5 can cooperate together to from a 5 or 6 membered alkyl ring, wherein n and m are each independently an integer from 1 to 4. Record materials according to the invention have improved thermal response and/or intensity characteristics.
