ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides a recording system for recording operating parameter information on transportation equipment, such as large trucks and the like. The recording system includes at least one circuit line for operation thereof and is characterized by a sensor for sensing circuit line impedence changes indicative of unauthorized shut down of the system, as well as a recording member responsive to the sensor for visually recording any occurrences of these impedence changes on the recording medium.
