Abstract Recording system A non-scanning recording system for recording information over the width of a movable photoreceptor makes use of small point light sources, which are provided on monocrystalline substrates, the said substrates being arranged in staggered relation and combined with focussing systems such as autofocussing optical fibers or lenticular screens so that a light-pattern produced by the light-sources is focussed on the photoreceptor to form a continuous line of exposure thereon.
