A process for the recovery of substituted tartaric acid resolving agents from resolution process liquors comprising organic solvents, wherein the substituted tartaric acid derivatives are neutralised by adding a base, extracted into an aqueous phase and crystallised from the aqueous phase by addition of a mineral acid in the presence of an organic solvent.

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de récupérer des agents de résolution d'acide tartrique chiral substitué à partir de liqueurs de traitement de résolution comprenant des solvants organiques, les dérivés d'acide tartrique substitué étant neutralisés par adjonction d'une base extraite dans une phase aqueuse et cristallisés à partir de cette phase aqueuse par adjonction d'un acide minéral en présence d'un solvant organique.
