Contaminated aqueous systems can be cleaned using an ultra-filtration system that allows for high recovery yields of the surfactant employed therein for recycle and reuse. The system employs specific nonionic surfactants which remain polar and solvated at the higher operating temperatures of the system. The surfactant/contaminant containing aqueous system is ultra-filtered resulting in the surfactant passing through with the permeate at extremely high yields for recovery and reuse.

On peut épurer les systèmes aqueux contaminés au moyen d'un système d'ultra-filtration permettant de récupérer en grande quantité le tensioactif employé dans ce dernier, afin de le recycler ou de le réutiliser. Pour ce faire, on utilise dans ledit système des tensioactifs non ioniques spécifiques qui restent polaires et solvatés aux températures de fonctionnement plus supérieures dudit système. On procède à l'utrafiltration du système aqueux contenant des contaminants/tensioactifs, le tensioactif traversant ainsi la membrane en très grande quantité conjointement avec le perméat, après quoi on le récupère et on le réutilise.
