ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Strontium is recovered from a brine containing strontium and calcium salts in a Ca++/Sr++ molar ratio of greater than 20/1 by admixing- with the brine strontium sulfate seed and a water-soluble sulfate, and recovering the thus produced strontium sulfate.
