A recovery process for at least one precious metal contained in an ore, includes: comminuting the ore to obtain particles smaller than a predetermined particle size; separating the particles into at least two groups, each group being characterized by a particle size range; and leaching separately each group of particles with a reagent adapted to dissolve the at least one precious metal.

L'invention concerne un procédé de récupération d'au moins un métal précieux contenu dans un minerai, ledit procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à : pulvériser le minerai pour obtenir des particules d'une taille inférieure à une taille de particules prédéterminée; séparer les particules en au moins deux groupes, chaque groupe étant caractérisé par un intervalle de taille de particules; et lixivier séparément chaque groupe de particules avec un réactif adapté pour dissoudre ledit ou lesdits métaux précieux.
