ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE In a passenger slide having bearers located on the side of a hill, and supports for segments of the slide mounted on bearers, these supports are of simplified form with each support being of telescopic form and having a lower outer tube which is attached to an end portion of the appropriate bearer. Adjustably mounted within the outer tube is an inner tube, with the upper ends of the inner tubes of the supports supporting tubular carriers on which the slide segments are mounted. Each inner tube is disposed through an enlarged hole in the associated carrier thereby to permit adjustment of the angle at which the carrier is disposed.
