ABSTRACT The composites made from cellulose fiber and polystyrene were simultaniously exposed to various aging conditions and recycled up to three times. The aging conditions may be exposure to water at room temperature and boiling temperature, and to heat at +105°C and -20°C. The matrix of the cellulose fiber may be bonded with a coupling agent while the cellulose fibers itself may also be surface coated with polymer ~ isocyanate, and grafted with a polymer. The recycled composites restored the mechanical properties and dimensional stability even after exposure to extreme conditions.
