ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE There is disclosed a modified peanut butter product which has a reduced fat and calorie content. To achieve this, the modified peanut butter product incorporates at least 12 %, and preferably between 15% to 35% by weight of a hydrolyzed corn starch. The peanut butter component can be achieved using regular ground peanuts.
