ABSTRACT A coupling for connecting the ends of two pipes of different diameters comprised of a body having a radially extending wall and first and second sleeve portions axially extending in opposite directions from the wall. The first sleeve portion is adapted to telescopically receive the end of the larger of the two pipes and the second sleeve portion is adapted to telescopically receive the end of the smaller of the pipes. A plurality of circumferentially spaced ears project radially outward from the periphery of the first sleeve portion and the wall, and contain openings therethrough. A plurality of circumferentially spaced sets of two lugs project radially outward from the peripheral of the second sleeve portion closely adjacent the wall. The space between the two lugs in each set open radially outward. First and second followers are associated respective with ends of the first and second sleeve portions. First and second series of bolts extend from the ears and lugs to respective followers associated with the first and second sleeve portions. The heads of the first and second series of bolts are adjacent the ears and the lugs respectively.
