A mixed signal IC 100 comprising analog circuitry for converting between analog and digital signals and digital circuitry includes circuitry to produce a conversion enable signal (158) which causes the analog circuit to perform a conversion between an analog signal and a digital signal. The circuitry also asserts a warning signal (156) prior to production of the enable signal to momentarily disable the digital circuitry during operation of the analog circuitry. By so doing, noise artifacts from operation of the digital circuitry is eliminated when the analog circuitry is making a conversion.

L'invention concerne un CI (100) mixte comprenant un ensemble de circuits analogiques destinés à effectuer une conversion entre des signaux analogiques et des signaux numériques, ainsi qu'un ensemble de circuits numériques, le CI mixte comprenant un ensemble de circuits destiné à produire un signal (158) d'activation de conversion qui permet au circuit analogique d'effectuer une conversion entre un signal analogique et un signal numérique.
