A method is provided for treating a subterranean formation penetrated by a well bore comprising the steps of: a) forming a phosphate ester gelled hydrocarbon fracturing fluid comprising a liquid hydrocarbon and a an alkyl phosphate gelling agent; b) adding said fluid a delayed gel breaker, c) injecting said fluid down a well, and d) allowing said breaker to break the fracturing fluid gel after an initial delay period and destabilize a metal crosslink in said gel, reducing the volatile phosphorous present in the fluid by at least about 25%.

Divulgation d'une méthode pour traiter une formation souterraine dans laquelle un puits a été foré. Cette méthode comprend les étapes suivantes : a) former un fluide de fracturation hydrocarboné gélifié avec un phosphate comprenant un hydrocarbure liquide et un gélifiant à base de phosphate d'alkyle; b) ajouter ledit fluide à un dégélifiant à retardement; c) injecter ledit fluide dans un puits; d) permettre au dégélifiant de briser le fluide de fracturation gélifié après une période initiale et de déstabiliser un pont métallique dans ledit gel, réduisant le phosphore volatil présent dans le fluide d'environ au moins 25 %.
