Provided herein is a method of administering a liposome composition to an animal, the method involving administering to the animal a liposome composition containing an adverse physiological reaction-reducing effective amount of a liposome which has, in addition to a bioactive agent, a lipid bilayer containing a lipid and a surface agent-modified molecule. An adverse physiological reaction which may be experienced by the animal upon administration of a liposome composition is reduced by way of the presence of the surface agent-modified molecule in the liposome's lipid bilayer.

L'invention concerne un procédé d'administration d'une composition liposomique à un animal, ledit procédé consiste à administrer à l'animal une composition liposomique contenant une dose efficace réduisant des réactions physiologiques indésirables d'un liposome présentant, en plus d'un agent bioactif, une bicouche lipidique contenant un lipide et une molécule modifiée par un agent de surface. La réaction physiologique indésirable que l'animal peut avoir lors de l'administration d'une composition liposomique est réduite par la présence de la molécule modifiée par un agent de surface dans la bicouche lipidique du liposome.
