A hot melt adhesive hose assembly has a redundant control circuit fixedly mounted thereon which comprises a pair of heater circuits and a pair of temperature sensors. Should a failure occur within the first one of the heater circuits, or within a first one of the temperature sensors, electrical switch mechanisms are activated so as to effectively remove the first, failed heater circuit or the first failed temperature sensor from the hot melt adhesive hose assembly electrical circuitry, and substantially simultaneously therewith, electrically connect the second one of the heater circuits or the second one of the temperature sensors to the hot melt adhesive hose assembly electrical circuitry. The hot melt adhesive hose assembly, with its redundant control circuit comprising the pair of heater circuits and the pair of temperature sensors, thus comprises a self -contained, stand-alone, independent operative component that can be utilized in conjunction with any hot melt adhesive supply unit (ASU).
L'invention concerne un ensemble tuyau pour adhésif thermofusible comprenant un circuit de commande redondant monté fixe sur celui-ci et comportant une paire de circuits de chauffage et une paire de capteurs de température. En cas de défaillance dans un premier circuit des circuits de chauffage, ou dans un premier capteur des capteurs de température, des mécanismes de commutation électrique sont activés, ce qui permet de déconnecter efficacement le premier circuit de chauffage défaillant ou le premier capteur de température défaillant des circuits électriques de l'ensemble tuyau pour adhésif thermofusible, et, de manière sensiblement simultanée, de connecter électriquement le second des circuits de chauffage ou le second des capteurs de température aux circuits électriques de l'ensemble tuyau pour adhésif thermofusible. Ledit ensemble tuyau pour adhésif thermofusible, dont le circuit de commande redondant comprend la paire de circuits de chauffage et la paire de capteurs de température, possède donc un composant fonctionnel indépendant autonome pouvant être utilisé conjointement avec n'importe quelle unité d'alimentation en adhésif thermofusible (ASU).
