ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Apparatus for stripping copy sheets from a heated fuser member utilized in a xerographic copier. The apparatus is characterized by provision of a first contact stripping means in the form of a single stripper finger which is supported adjacent the nip formed between a heated fuser roll and a backup roll forming such nip. A second stripping means comprising a pair of stripper fingers is supported along an arcuate path encompassing the nip and the first stripping means such that the first stripping means is disposed intermediate the nip and the second stripping means.
