Disclosed is a reel changer for feeding a web of material that is wound on a reel (2, 3, 4) into a web-processing machine comprising a supporting frame (1) in which at least one reel (2, 3, 4) of material is mounted so as to be rotatable about the axis of rotation thereof. At least three reels (2, 3, 4) of material are provided whose axes of rotation (R) run parallel to each other and which are disposed so as to be pivotable about a common axis of rotation (D) that runs parallel to the axes of rotation (R) of the reels (2, 3, 4). Preferably, one respective pair of supporting arms (6), between which the respective reel (2, 3, 4) of material is rotatably mounted, is provided for mounting the reels (2, 3, 4) of material such that the reels (2, 3, 4) can be rotated about the respective axis of rotation (R) thereof. Said supporting arms (6) radially protrude from the axis of rotation (D) that runs parallel to the respective axes of rotation (R). A reel drive (23) which causes the reel (2) of material located in the unwinding zone to rotate or which decelerates the reel (2) of material is provided in the unwinding zone.

L'invention est caractérisée en ce qu'il est prévu dans la zone débitrice, un dispositif de commande de rouleau (23), lequel déplace en rotation le rouleau de matériau (2) se trouvant dans ladite zone débitrice, ou ralentit ce rouleau.
