ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A reel includes a pair of segments, one of which is moulded integrally with a flange, the other of which is demountable from the one. The other segment includes a segmental inner member and a segmental outer member which are connected by a pair of connecting members at both ends. The outer member is prevented from deforming polygonally by forming a sectorial space between the inner member and the outer member, or by forming a clearance between the inner member or the outer member and the top of a rib which is almost across the rectorial space.
